Year 5 Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a lovely school in Barnet borough, North London, which requires a Year 5 teacher from January to July 2022, with the potential for a permanent opportunity in September 2022.

The School

This modern, 2 form entry primary school in Barnet is driven by an inspiring Headteacher and senior leadership team. The school plays an important role in the heart if the community. Graded as "good" after their last Ofsted report, there is a creative environment in the school and supply staff like working here The school has a large car park and is well served by public transport.

The Class

The class are described as delightful and there are only 23 in total with good behaviour and who are motivated. With a range of abilities, there is a requirement for activities and lessons to be differentiated, as there are some children who are very able and some who require additional support.

Each year group plans together on a weekly basis to share ideas and resources.

The school is ideally seeking an experienced teacher for this role as they already have two ECT's on board, although they could accept an ECT/NQT who is looking for experience, but not induction. Salary will be paid to MPS, so £29915 - £41136.
