Job description
Mobile Electrical Supervisor - Energy based Contract - South East London / Kent
We are working with a well respected FM services provider who have a Contract with a large Energy Supplier in the South East.
Due to growth they are now looking for a hands on, working mobile electrical supervisor, covering the contract, helping the engineers, ensuring PPM tasks up to date etc and be a technical go to for the engineers. £43k plus van and great benefits with genuine - ongoing training and career development.
Main Purpose of Job:
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a keen focus on quality, safety and environmental matters who can demonstrate a professional attitude in all areas of technical service delivery
Support Regional Engineering Manager in all areas of technical service delivery.
Electrical qualifications and trade experience:
To include but not limited to: IEE 18th Edition Regulations,
relevant C&G installation qualifications. Ability to carry out complex LV switching, attaining an Authorised Person status. C&G qualification in Test and Inspection. HV switching qualification and recent experience would be advantageous.
Experience in working in a corporate environment with relevant experience in UPS & Generator systems, switching and basic fault finding. Ability to understand, interrogate BMS systems and fault find as required, liaising with specialist sub-contractors when needed.
HVAC: Demonstrable working knowledge of HVAC systems to include but not limited to VAV, VRF, Splits and fan coils. Understanding of F gas, HVAC controls and BMS.
Supervising the technicians and their work ensuring productivity remains high and the team are delivering a high standard of work at all times
Demonstrate ownership of all aspects of the technical delivery with the ability to manage issues through to a satisfactory conclusion
Set tone for high productivity and excellent standards in H&S. Understand H&S policies and local management procedures, ensuring the technical team also understand and adhere to the policies and procedures.
Excellent customer service skills are essential, ability to communicate with all levels of our colleagues and clients, support and lead a cohesive high performing team.
Excellent IT skills including Planon and Aurora with the ability to work with a company supplied tablet
Must have a full driving license and will be expected to travel between contracted sites in the South East.
There is a callout rota that the supervisor would join and organise.
Main Responsibilities:
The job requires a professional person with good communications skills and the ability to get things done within definite time frames.
The need for an I.T skill set is considered necessary to be effective within the post.
Travel between sites in the South East · To assist the Regional Engineering Manager to coordinate and monitor works including PPM, reactive and compliance.
Understand Risk assessment and method statements, review and update them.
Oversee the Technicians work and monitor performance.
