Your new role

The Atlassian Administrator role's primary focus is to ensure provide the best possible service we can for our Atlassian tools. Day to day, the Atlassian Administrator role will be responsible for the Atlassian application suite within Technology Service Platforms team and will ensure all requests are met in a timely and efficient manner. They will also be responsible for ensuring the backend infrastructure is highly available, resilient, reliable and secure. Delivering a good user experience for these applications is key to the success of the Service Platforms team.

You'll have the following responsibilities

Administrating a 2000+ user environment on Atlassian applications including Jira and Confluence
Support the business in creating Jira projects and Confluence spaces
Creating workflows, fields, screens, reports, dashboards etc. based on custom requirements
Provide new ideas or processes for using the Atlassian suite more effectively
Administer the backend Atlassian infrastructure and ensure the platform is highly available, reliable and secure
Administrate the patching, backup and recovery of the Atlassian infrastructure
Manage all add-ons and integrations
Provide user training when required
Manage and own any documentation to aid support of the Atlassian suite

What you'll need to succeed

Strong knowledge of Atlassian suite of applications, specifically Jira and Confluence
Proven ability to quickly pick up and understand complex technical issues and come up with solutions
Ability to confidently communicate plans to various stakeholders
Ability to take ownership of projects \/ deliveries
Manages own time to meet agreed targets.
