This outstanding Primary School based in Westminster, Central London is looking to take on a graduate to start this January and work as a one to one teaching assistant on a full-time basis.

The successful applicant will have the primary responsibility of working on a one to one basis as a learning mentor aiding in the education of a child with Autism although a portion of your responsibilities will reflect that of a classroom teaching assistant. The student in question is verbal and achieves well but does require assistance with regards to focus and motivation.

Above all else, you will need to be a compassionate, warm natured individual with a genuine passion for working in a child related role; however some experience working in a supporting role capacity with special educational needs will hold you in good stead. Previous experience as a teaching assistant in school is not essential but experience working with primary school aged pupils is however essential.
