A wonderful education based charity in Barnet are seeking an organised and effective HR Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday. Working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00am - 1:30pm on Fridays. This position is paying a salary of 21,000 to 22,000.

This educational based charity work with mainstream learners and SEN learners. Their aim is to support each unique person so they can progress, achieve independence, enjoy life and be included in all communities in which we live, through meaningful vocation and a fulfilling social life.

The main purpose of this role is to work within the HR team to help provide an efficient HR function that supports all departments to fulfil the aims of the business. Main job tasks will include assisting the HR team with coordination of recruitment interviews with candidates, assist with the processing of references, qualifications and any other pre-employment checks, setting up new staff files and assisting with the maintenance of accurate up to date employee records and files using Excel and Sage HR.

Applicants must have experience working in an educational establishment or office environment.

HR experience is required to be considered for this position.

The Head Office is easily accessible via the Northern Underground Line. Street parking is available for staff who wish to drive.

Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
