Repairs and Maintenance Surveyor Housing

Your new company
This public sector organisation is looking to recruit a maintenance surveyor to join their team on an ongoing contractual basis. The office is based close to both bus and train stations making this a very commutable location.
As the Maintenance Surveyor you will be looking after the housing stock for this organisation.

Your new role
You will be required to carry out pre and post inspections to ensure the quality of work remains at the standard required.
You will be inspecting day-to-day repair work, small project based refurbishments and emergency repair works.
All the work is carried out in domestic properties therefore you will need to have experience of working in both single dwellings and medium to large estates.
Proactively reporting repairs to individual properties and communal parts of blocks identified when making site visits.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate you will have experience of repairs in domestic properties.
Working within the public sector will also be desirable but not essential.
Good IT skills as you will be required to write detailed reports.
