Products Manager
Salary £60,000 - £65,000
Location: Chancery lane
Hybrid role working 1/2 days in the office.

Exciting role working for a leading classified adverts organisation in central London.

What you'll do
  • Line manage one junior Product owner while still being hands-on with the Product
  • Manage a multi-market roadmap, spanning all aspects of the Product function including managing multiple backlogs
  • Create high detailed user stories ensuring they serve for effective delivery
  • High confidence with writing acceptance criteria that serve tech teams and the business
  • Creating wireframes and manage design process
  • Running discovery sessions with different departments and stakeholders
  • Leading in refinement sessions
  • Collating and translating business requirements
  • Documenting tracking requirements
  • Participating in 3 amigo sessions
  • Effective communication Product roadmap and priorities
  • Continuously conducting user research to ensure we align our Product with customer needs
  • Understanding departments challenges and upcoming requirements
  • Task delegation and team working across all departments
  • Carry out competitive landscape analysis
  • Ensure there is always an adequate amount of previously prepared and defined tasks
for the team to work on
  • Plan and prioritise the Product feature backlog
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and creation of user stories
  • Research and analyse the market, the users, and the roadmap for the Product
  • Follow our competitors and the industry closely
  • Monitor product goals, define KPIs and conversion funnels to support decision making
and demonstrate the impact of product changes
  • Assess value, develop cases, prioritise and validate user stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on maximum value in line with product strategy
  • Participate in team demos, stand-ups, planning meetings, backlog refinement & retrospectives
  • Work with business stakeholders to prioritise growth opportunities and maintain a big-picture holistic view of product direction
  • Be the domain knowledge expert, representing the voice of our users through usage & behaviour insight to support the decision-making process

Who you are
  • You want to make things happen, you have excellent communication and will be involved with the wider business whilst still getting stuck in and supporting the Product Owner.
  • You're a solid Product Manager with 5+ years of experience, with a track record of
finding solutions, bringing ideas to the table and getting stuff done!
  • Experience of mentoring junior team members
  • You'll have in-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • You have relevant domain expertise, meaning you can demonstrate full product
  • ownership for a similar online marketplace platform (multi-market, cross channel
  • traffic conversion, messaging etc.)
  • You've mastered Google Analytics, Jira and Confluence
  • You thrive in a hands-on, Agile, startup environment
  • You're happy to get your hands dirty and spot opportunities to support your team with
  • project management, QA, or other needs as they come up
  • You're up to date with product trends for all things web and mobile.
  • You will have outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to
  • lead meetings
  • You will have excellent organisational and time management skills
  • You will have a sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You will be a creative thinker
  • You'll have an eye for detail
  • Clear and confident in driving change throughout an organisation
  • You understand the importance of gathering user needs and insights, and have
experience in conducting analysis with quantitative and qualitative research

Bonus skills
  • You will hold a CPO (Certified Product Owner) certification
  • You have a passion for UI/UX
  • Knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS and Data Models
  • Familiar with omni-channel CRM and automated email management
  • Experience of business development integrations: Feeds, APIs, tag manager, display
  • advertising, co-registration, affiliate and direct deal integrations.
