Project planner

A Project Planner is needed for a leading main contractor based in London, due to new project wins. The Project Planner is required in West London (W8), on a permanent basis. This role is site-based, so it's essential you feel comfortable working in this environment and venturing out on site to review progress. The focus of the role is to provide detailed programs that map out the full construction process and to develop and present efficient build sequences and resource requirements.

Key Responsibilities & duties:

* Develop the construction programme, in liaison with the Project/Construction Managers

* Produce a more detailed suite of programmes for the control of the project including short-term, look ahead programmes, trade or sub-contractor programmes, recovery programmes and design programmes

* Assist in the production of the fit-out matrix liaising with the fit-out managers.

* Monitor progress and update the Construction Programme with actual and forecasted progress

* Conduct site walks entails and agree completion percentages with the Project Manager.

Key skills:

* Previous experience within a site-based Planner position

* Hold a valid CSCS card

* Competent in ASTA Power Project

* Experience of producing written technical documentation
