The Science Museum Group (SMG) is an exciting organisation at the boundary of the private, public and charitable sectors, with a fascinating variety of reporting challenges.

As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for Masterplan/Capital investment project accounting and associated income recognition. Working closely with Project Directors and key business stakeholders, you will ensure that the total financial picture is understood by internal and external stakeholders whilst highlighting critical path dependencies. As the main financial contact for your Programme, your support will range from analysis, monitoring and reporting, to business case development and delivery

Joining us, you will hold an accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and have experiencing of supporting major programmes to completion. You have excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build strong, effective stakeholder relationships, and your ability to communicate well ensures that your messages are understood and inspire action to a wide audience. You will be able to forecast and identify future opportunities and developments.
