Tutor Fellow - Year 5 & 6 - Westminster - ASAP start

A high performing academic School in the Borough of Westminster are on the hunt for a Tutor Fellow to join their team for an ASAP start.

As a Tutor Fellow, you will be working in a school with the highest academic aspirations, but also where a caring, family-orientated culture is maintained throughout.

In your role as a Tutor Fellow you will be working with children in Year 5 and 6, delivering intervention groups and supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis, with a focus on reading and developing children's skills in this curriculum area.

This Tutor Fellow position is the perfect role for someone looking for experience to support their future career working with children, such as aspiring Primary Teachers. Many Tutor Fellows who have worked at the school previously have gone on to train as Primary Teachers through the school's training programme.

The school are looking for someone who is intelligent, enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated to making a difference as a Tutor Fellow.

JOB DESCRIPTION - Tutor Fellow

• Tutor Fellow
• Working in Year 5 & 6
• Supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis
• To improve standards in reading across the school
• Working alongside a fantastic team of Teachers & support staff
• ASAP Start
• Long Term & Full Time
• £75 - £90 per day + excellent healthcare package
• Located in the Borough of Westminster
• You must be able to commit until July 2022

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Tutor Fellow

• Must have a Degree from a reputable University
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A levels and GCSEs
• Experience in a previous role would be ideal
• Proactive, reflective and committed
• Passionate about the potential of every pupil
• Able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with staff, pupils and parents
• Motivated to continually improve standards and achieve excellence
• Must be able to use your own initiative - in & out of the classroom
• You must be able to work effectively as part of a large team
