We are a global technology services business offering software and digital services for large private and public enterprises in the UK, US and India. With over 2000 employees, we are a market leading organisation with big plans for further growth. We are looking to massively grow our software teams across the next few years and right now is a very exciting time to join us. As such, we require a number of Java Developers to join our team and contribute towards the development of new applications in our bio-metric portfolio.

Your new role
As a Java Developer, you will be required to develop new features for our portfolio of Bio-metric products. We strive to produce top quality, highly efficient Java code and you will be joining a team that takes pride in the work we do. You will design, develop and test enterprise software from scratch, providing all supporting documentation that includes build and deployment instructions. You will be given the creative freedom to pitch new, innovative ideas, contribute to the plans for new products and consult with the business leaders around plans for improvement. As a Senior Developer you will help to support the more junior developers through mentor-ship and be encouraged to up-skill through funded training programmes and courses.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong back-end Java Development skills with a good understanding of object-orientated programming. You will have experience of end-to-end application delivery, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance. You will have good knowledge of relational databases (Postgres, Oracle) along with knowledge, ideally hands on, of SQL. You will have worked with cloud services such as AWS or Azure. Any experience with front-end technologies such as Javascript, HTML\/CSS or Angular will be advantageous as we are also on the look out for full-stack developers to join our teams. You will have worked at large blue-chip organisations, although start-up and public sector experience is also very advantageous.
