Job description

GSW Consultancy are delighted to be working with a reputable Heating contractor that operate within the Social Housing sector. Our client is looking for an experienced operational professional that will be accountable for the operational delivery of all repair and servicing needs for Clients located in the designated 'Region', including the provision and management of field engineering and supporting administration functions.
Key responsibilities:
* Drives the operational delivery strategy into the designated Region
* Client partnership relationship management; escalation point for contractual operational matters
* Demand shaping, planning and owns the Regional delivery roadmap
* Regional and contract-specific budgetary control of all resources dedicated to operational delivery
* Ensures overall service delivery is optimised and of a high quality, whilst maximising efficiency and effectiveness of all resources
* Responsible for tactical delivery of the work stack in support of Residents, including Client-specific initiatives; acting as an escalation point for Critical Job prioritisation
* Continuous improvement of working practices in-Region, ensuring alignment with company-wide policies and processes
* Adopting lessons learnt from Customer Experience feedback to maximise Customer Satisfaction
* Ensure adherence to - and participation in - Client-specific Social Value commitments
* Delivery of KPI and Management Information in support of evidencing contractual performance compliance and Regional delivery metrics
* Work closely with, and support the Central Functions in the delivery of all facets of the above
* Collaborate with other Heads of Region to share best practices across Regions
Key attributes:
* Very strong operational and management skills, with extensive experience within the gas industry
* Ability to manage, shape and grow teams and experience, by taking accountability for action-oriented decisions taken by self and subordinates
* Highly motivated with individual initiative and self-reliance
* Excellent communication skills, demonstrating deep proficiency in collaboration and influencing with internal and external stakeholders
* Personal commitment and proactive approach to Health & Safety
* The ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced service delivery environment
* Flexibility and adaptability to be able to innovate, react and implement change in a positive way
* Ability to manage multiple/conflicting priorities with a strong track record of delivery
