Mental Health Teaching Assistant - Ealing Secondary School

A Psychology Graduate is required for this Mental Health Teaching Assistant role to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs in a fantastic Ealing Secondary!

You will be part of a very inclusive team, ensuring that all pupils are able to have access to mainstream class teaching, through your support and teamwork with other staff and external support frameworks.

  • Salary: £15,000 - paid on a weekly PAYE basis
  • Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 08.00 - 17:00

As a capable Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in a very important stage of the pupil's education. Owing to the COVID pandemic there has been a surge of Mental Health issues created and magnified. The school is a very inclusive environment and understands the benefit of having a Mental Health Support Assistant supporting their most vulnerable pupils and allowing them to continue to access the excellent teaching at the school.

This is a full-time Mental Health Teaching Assistant position available for the duration of the coming academic year. The school has a very strong leadership team and an experience Special Needs Co-ordinator, who will work closely with you to ensure your support is tailored and appropriate to the pupil/s you will be working with.
