Job description

The Twenty One Recruitment Group are recruiting for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure Design and Installation work is being delivered, across the project, in line with our Quality Control Plans & Inspection Test Plans.

The prospective applicant must be and experienced Engineer and be able to demonstrate a knowledge and background in the preparation and implementation of Quality Control Plans & Inspection Test Plans. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be able to generate and develop the above-mentioned documents, relevant to the activities to be undertaken, with consideration to the Clients specifications, drawings and supporting documentation and to ensure the installation works are being undertaken in the manner described and to the acceptable quality or standard.

Key Responsibilities:

* Proven track record as Quality Assurance Lead on successful projects and working within a large site team.

* Strong technical knowledge and proven ability orchestrating and evaluating the design and installation process.

* Good IT skills and ability to use Microsoft Office, company quality documents

* Excellent organizational skills and an ability to priorities own work.

* Resident in and eligible to work in the UK.

* Lead the implementation of existing and create new processes and systems to achieve consistency within documentation

* Undertake assurance activities (audit, review) to verify compliance with the defined systems, processes and assurance documentation.

* Undertake detailed sampling of deliverables to verify compliance Quality Assurance processes

* Manage compliance with requirements for work definition, specification and design including the identification of non-compliances.

* Analyse information to identify problem areas for action.

* Identify and report any resource or competency issues that need to be managed (by others) to improve the levels of compliance.

* Lead and support the implementation of improvement plans and other initiatives including the promotion of good practice.

* Coach and mentor others on the application of processes, systems, assurance and the quality requirements for the end product.

Qualification / Technical skills / Experience / Knowledge:

The following are essential requirements for the role:

* Previous Quality Assurance Management Experience

* Good knowledge of MEP building services.

* HNC/HND in building services is advantageous

* Experience in all domestic water and drainage aspects

* Experience in all aspect of HVAC

* Experience in BMS and Control advantageous

* Be able to read drawings and schematics

* Strong team player.
