Lead Reporting Controller (9 months), \u00A3500 - \u00A3600 day rate, West London, Large Corporate Enterprise

A market leading, global company based in West London is looking to hire a new Lead Reporting Controller (9 months). The company is a household brand name, well known within its respective industry. Working out of the head office in a smart working environment, your role as Lead Reporting Controller will be to work closely with the Global Head of Finance and the wider senior finance team in a period of group acquisition, preparing consolidations and liaising with the parent company to ensure parent requirements are met.

Your new role
As the new Lead Reporting Controller, your responsibilities will include:

* Complete ownership of monthly group consolidations reporting and adjustments including the maintenance and support documentations for elimination transactions
* Business partnering with country head CFO's to present consolidations
* Liaise with company's multiple entities to introduce new reporting features
* Ensuring the consolidations process is completed in line with parent requirements
* Setting timetables for business unit submissions and coordination of activities with other group functions

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed here, as a Group Consolidations Accountant, you must be the following:

* A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, etc)
* An experienced accountant in consolidations reporting
* Desirably, but not necessarily, US GAAP knowledge

* Experience using Hyperion or similar consolidations tools
* Comfortable working to demanding deadlines
* A self-starter who can problem solve without the support of others
