Job description

Axcis are looking to appoint a teaching assistant at a friendly, community-focused primary school based in Ealing.

This role is ideal for experienced teaching assistants who understand the challenges and joys of working with young people.

Do you pride yourself on creating a happy, safe and stimulating environment? Are you able to encourage pupils to accept challenges, reach their potential and raise attainment?

You will need to be adaptable, flexible and able to develop good relationships with the children you are working with.

This is a full time position to start immediately, Mon - Fri 8.30am - 3.30pm. Excellent rates of pay

The school prides its self on its varied, creative and challenging curriculum, so the successful candidate would be confident in supporting young learners in a variety of areas.

Appropriate support is provided for pupils with special educational needs, either within the classroom or in small groups so some parts of your role may be supporting SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) students including Autism, ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties to name a few.

You will be assigned a professional consultant who will be your personal point of contact throughout your time working with us and as sponsors of the National Autistic Society and other notable SEND organisations, Axcis takes it duty of care to the profession seriously and we do our best to find only the best staff for the schools we work with.
