Job description

We are currently recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our new banking and investment contract in Liverpool Street, London to £45k plus benefits.

The Mechanical Technician will ideall have current Mechanical qualifications (HVAC, Gas, A/C, Mechanical etc) and experience working in a maintenance/ building services environment nd will be providing Mechanical, Electrical and building fabric maintenance to landlord and tenanted areas.

The Day Shift Engineer will provide an exceptional high standard of building services maintenance (planned and reactive) with the utmost regard for customer service.

The working hours are a Continental Shift Pattern, Days ONLY - 07:00-19:00. There is also a call-out rota of 1 in 3.

Responsibilities

You will:

* Deliver PPM relating Mechanical and Electrical equipment in-line with agreed programmes / SLA's in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance.

* Costing and completing Reactive Works identified through PPM work undertaken when requested.

* To maintain premises to an exceptionally high standard

* Develop excellent working relationships with our client their staff or appointed representative through good customer service.

* To ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date as this will be regularly audited either by internal or external parties.

* Capable of working independently and when requested managing Reactive Works carried out by others.

* Completing all required documentation, job sheets and certificates.

Requirements

You will have:

* City & Guilds Mechanical discipline competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.

* Be conversant with Mechanical Plant related Building Services PPM's carried out in-line with SFG20 and resulting Reactive Work.

* BMS experience and Multi-skill capability and or HVAC certificates, equivalent qualifications

* Ideally all candidates should have undertaken a Mechanical apprenticeship

* IOSH Working / Managing Safely (Desirable)

* Safe system of Work Procedure - PTW; RAMS etc (Desirable)

* L8 Training (Desirable)
