Band 2 HCA:
In this role, as a care assistant, you will be working closely with multi-disciplinary team members to provide a high standard of care for patients throughout their visit or stay at Imperial Teaching Hospitals. You will be responsible for implementing treatment and risk management plans and aiding patients through their recovery. Moreover, you will also be responsible for providing support and comfort to patient family members or carers.
During your work as a care assistant, you will be expected to provide a high level of care to all patients in your ward or clinical area. This may include (and will not be limited to) moving and handling, cleaning and bathing patients, feeding patients and patient observations - this could be for a wide variety of patients.

Pay: Band 5
- Days: £12.16 per hour
- Saturday/Nights: £15.80 per hour
- Sunday/Bank Holiday: £19.46 per hour

A successful candidate for this role will have:
At least six months UK NHS Hospital Experience in a HCA capacity.
Be willing to work across departments, including our busy A&E.
Have good communication and interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic approach to the provision of quality, effective safe care delivery.
Understand the importance of maintaining patient safety and minimising risk in accordance with Trust policy and procedure.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Demonstrate a good understanding of the importance of supportive and flexible team working.
