We are looking for an office based Account Manager to join us in this exciting new role.

The salary for this role will be up to £29,000 depending on experience, with 30% OTE Commission.

Your role will be to manage the lifecycle of an assigned portfolio ensuring subscription renewal targets are met, whilst acquiring new business through both existing and new customers.

We are looking for someone who's able to build strong working relationships with clients through the provision of excellent customer service over email, video call and phone.

Your portfolio will consist of customers across all sectors who are subscribers of BSI or our primary online solution BSOL (British Standards Online), a Standards management tool that provides access to a database of British and International Standards. The content contained within BSOL supports management of customer supply chains, compliance with regulatory requirements and Health & Safety, in addition to business continuity, governance and quality.

About You

Educated to A' level or equivalent with GCSE level grade C or above in English and Mathematics.

Experience of selling/account management via the telephone, including identification of opportunities, negotiation techniques, objection handling and closure.

Effective use of internal database systems and internet search engines to conduct thorough and effective research.

Excellent customer service skills, dealing with a variety of customers and a drive to consistently exceed customer expectations.

Highly motivated to meet and exceed targets within given deadlines.

IT Proficiency:

SAP - intermediate

Salesforce - intermediate

Word/Excel - intermediate

Powerpoint - basic

Tableau
