Data Centre Shift Engineer - Mechanical Bias

Location: West London

Reports to: Shift Supervisor

The Company

We are working with one of the fastest growing client side Data Centre companies in the EMEA region. With multiple sites already up in the West London area and more to come in the next 18 months there is a clear pathway for long term development given the number of sites coming online in the next 18 months.

The Position

You would be working directly for the client and looking after a top of the line Data Centre in the West London area. The role will be on the one main site. For this role you will be required to work as part of a Continental Shift Pattern.

We are looking for someone with an in depth knowledge and understanding of Critical Mechanical Equipment. As a key member of the engineering shift team, you will responsible for the inspection, operation and maintenance of all associated assets within the Data Centre, with a primary focus on relevant Mechanical asset maintenance (Planned, Reactive and Corrective). Longer term there is the opportunity to develop into a HV Authorised Person for the site and you will actively contribute to the successful delivery of all critical works.

Could this be for you?

Qualifications & Knowledge

Experience in facilities, operations or engineering; ideally but not necessarily in a Datacentre critical environment
Demonstrable experience in operating and fault finding complex and integrated mechanical systems including (Large industrial sized Chillers, Generators, BMS Systems, Air Conditioning & Fire suppression systems)
Mechanically qualified to a good level along with some form of electrical qualification (preferred but not essential)Why Apply?
