An outstanding secondary school and sixth form in Hounslow is currently looking for a Food Technician to join their team on a full time basis.

This high-achieving secondary school and sixth form, rated Outstanding in its most recent Ofsted, is in the top 5% of schools for pupil progression from year 7 - 11. The school is committed to excellence both inside and outside the classroom, with an extensive offering of extra-curricular activities.

The school is situated on an expansive site with exceptional facilities and specialist classrooms. The school is located in West London and is easily accessible by public transport routes.

The school is looking to appoint a Food Technician to join the technology department. The successful applicant will be providing technical and in-class support across KS3 and KS4.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing for lessons including setting up and clearing away materials, ingredients and equipment
• Ensuring all work spaces and equipment is maintained and cleaned to the highest standard
• Supporting the class teacher with lesson demonstrations and assisting students with using equipment
• Ensure Health and Safety standards are upheld at all times
• Ordering stock and managing stock levels
