Security Escort, HMP\/YOI Feltham, Full time hours, ongoing temporary contract

Your new company
You will be working for HMP\/YOI Feltham located in Hounslow. HMP\/YOI Feltham is a Young Offenders institute housing male prisoners.

Your new role
Working as a Security Escort you will be working alongside the operational security team.
As a security escort your role will include escorting contractors around the prison site as they carry out there maintenance and development works. You will be required to conduct tool kit checks taking an inventory of each item entering the site. Other duties will include, contractor and visitor checks and searches, ensure no unauthorised items enter the prison site, radio and key handling and assisting in the safety of visitors and contractors.

What you'll need to succeed
You will not require previous experience as you will receive full on the job training. You will need to be a strong communicator, level headed and security conscious. You will be able to work well in a team and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will need to hold valid forms of ID such as Passport and Driving Licence in current address. You will be required to provide all ex-employer references covering the past 3 years and will be subject to full prison clearance.

You will receive full training on the job. This position will give you great insight into the everyday running of prison life and could lead to long term roles within the prison service. This role pays \u00A313.16 per hour inclusive of holiday pay. Additional rates of overtime may be available.
