Job description

We are looking for a Security Officer to work with us on an exciting new contract that will be launching very soon in Hounslow with a prestigious new client. You will be working on high profile sites including Business Parks and Industrial Estates. You will need to be available to work days, nights and weekends in order to support these sites, this position is being offered on a 60 hour per week contract, paying £8.91 per hour. The exact shift pattern for this job is Week 1 - Wednesday to Sunday nights 1 and Week 2 - Thursday to Sunday nights 1.

The main duties include:
Main focus on Health and Safety, working as part of a wide team you will be interacting with drivers, visitors and customers on the estate to push through the site safety rules.
CCTV monitoring of the estate, responding and reacting to any incidents that are noticed.
Writing accurate reports and raising incident reports to the client.
Protecting property and reporting if any street furniture is noted as damaged.
Liaising with police, airport police and other emergency services.
Providing a Security presence on the estate by way of external patrols.
Accurate hourly audits to be completed, counting vehicles in holding areas
Liaising with traffic marshalls to ensure vehicles do not overstay for the permitted 4 hours on the estate.
Accurate use of the site bodycam recording all Health and Safety conversations you have on the estate
Following the estate escalation procedures should there be a major incident.
As a Security Officer at G4S, you are more than a Security Guard. You'll ensure the safety of our customers staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

It's a varied role that includes greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols, conducting searches where required, patrolling the premises and dealing with security incidents. Skills, Qualifications and Experience

The Ideal Candidate

You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key, You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends. It would be a benefit to have from some security experience and your SIA licence, however it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.
