This is a new and exciting roles as Social Media Lead to join our fast paced Marketing Team.

The role will be required to develop and execute a social media strategy to support the activities carried out by BSI in its role as the UK's National Standards Body.

Working with stakeholders from Knowledge Solutions (product, sector specialist, content, sales, marketing and PR teams) and the wider BSI organisation this role will be tasked with fully enabling social channels to support the engagement, PR and sales and marketing teams as part of a wider marketing channel mix.

This role will work with stakeholders to develop and execute a plan to support key stakeholder activity and work with the marketing and the sales teams to build a social selling strategy embeding LinkedIn Sales Navigator into the daily workflow of the sales and marketing team.

Planning and Strategy

Working with Senior Marketing Managers develop and co-ordinated social media strategy for key Knowledge Solutions areas of activity (Government and stakeholder engagement, Standards launches, membership, consultancy and SAAS subscriptions products lead generation).

Lead the partnerships with our marketing teams to develop cutting-edge ideas for social first campaigns.

Execute

Working alongside marketing team create, develop, and deliver organic social media campaigns to create amplify key standards messages, support standard launches, lead generation campaigns and retention activity through social channels.

Measure

Evaluating, measure and analyse social marketing campaigns and their effectiveness utilizing social analytics and integrated measurement technics.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Graduate with post graduate marketing qualification desirable (e.g. CIM)

Strong experience in a similar social role planning, creating and optimising paid and organic social media campaigns

Proven ability to develop social strategy that delivers tangible ROI against both financial and non-financial metrics

Good understanding of social channels (specifically, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook) and how they can be used in a B2B environment, their potential impact on acquisition and retention as well as their effect on brand perceptions.

Familiar with setting clear campaign goals and a s trong understanding of digital tracking, measurement, and reporting tools - ability to analyse digital campaigns, demonstrate actionable insight and ROI

Proven track record of improving reach and engagement metrics

Exampled experience of building communities on social platforms

Strong customer-oriented ethic with ability to respond to customer queries directly and monitor conversations about the brand

An eye for marketable content and the ability to identify the 'story' around any topic

A true passion for all things digital with knowledge of digital marketing current best practice and understanding of digital product processes

Proactive and results orientated, with the ability to balance multiple projects and spontaneous marketing opportunities that may arise

Excellent communications skills across all levels (both verbal and written), and confident in copywriting, editing and crafting content for social media

Experience working with social influencers

An active user and advocate of social media with e xperience in developing or managing social strategy using one or more of the following is advantageous:
