Job Description
· Liaise with all MITIE business units and departments regarding current training records : - Engineering, Cleaning, Front of house, Admin/support and Security full under this supporting role
· To work with the Compliance and resilience manager regarding processes and procedures
· To work closely with the QSHE Lead, to support with communicating, recording MITIE Toolbox talks and other MITIE Training requirements. Also booking courses as and when necessary
· To Manage Central training trackers in relation to monitor all MITIE and Contractor staff competencies to ensure training requirements are kept in date
· To manage the action tracker from the monthly Training development group session.
· To support, review and monitor Contractor performance including giving feedback to our Partners
· Carry out Contractor Audits, and arrange Contractor meetings
· Deliver Inductions and other training requirements to MITIE staff and Contractors across the footprint
· To support any ADHOC Audits that may be required
· To support the team regarding any Chasing, and requesting Information from contractors and/or in house teams supporting Investigations that the team may be asked to carry out.
· To organise schedules and/or meetings that supports the duties of the compliance and Audit team
Although the role is generally Monday to Friday, flexibility is required as the Airport runs 247 so they maybe times we maybe asked to support an out of hours function.
Qualifications
- An individual that has training experience, someone with a teaching qualification being preferred
Additional Information
- Someone who has Aviation or public services background, (but would be open to accept applications who has experience in another sector)
- Confident of being around others, and Public speaking
- Good Word, Excel and PowerPoint knowledge (an example of this maybe designing a training PowerPoint presentation)

- Self-motivation as at times you may have work loads/duties that requires to be self-driven
- Some experience and/or understanding of communicating and supporting third party companies
- Understanding of some Compliance practices
- Able to represent Mitie effectively at both internal and external meetings
- Understanding of adult learning and teaching principles

- Can demonstrate and lead by example in all role activities
- Excellent ability to problem solve & find robust solutions
