Are you an experienced or a Newly Qualified Teacher with a passion for the English language and Literature?If yes, we might just have the role for you! Horizon Teachers are looking to recruit an English teacher for a High-performing mixed secondary school in Lambeth. The role is for an immediate start and is for 5 weeks - up until the Christmas holidays.

This job is perfect for a newly qualified teacher looking to gain some valuable teaching experience but is of course open to all.Requirements: Available to start immediately Hold QTS - role open to NQT's Have a relevant degree Experience is not essential but could be desirable Have knowledge of National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4, and of writing lesson plans, developing resources and assessing students' work Have excellent time management skills Be able to motivate students and raise their aspirations through a range of strategies Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Teach classes up to KS3 and possibly KS4 DBS certificate on the update service or willing to get one through us.
