We're looking for a passionate individual to join our team as UX/UI Designer. Goodsted is a platform for businesses to effectively engage employees and stakeholders to progress social and environmental goals. Essentially we help businesses run volunteering programmes that employees get excited about!

As our UX/UI Designer, you will help shape the future of our product experience, with best-in-class visual design skills and solid experience of UX practice. A great fit for us is someone who is curious, ambitious, optimistic and creative.
What we're offering you
Salary: £35k-£40k (depending on experience)
Salary might be lower than larger companies - but in return you will receive equity, independence, and the opportunity to really shape the future of what we're building.
Goodsted is made up of 10 passionate individuals; a Founder/CEO, a Product Manager, a Community Executive, a CTO, 2 Front-end developers, a Back-end developer, a QA tester, a UI Designer and a Graphic Designer, along with 16 advisors who are ready to help when we need them! Check out the full team here. You will report to the Product Manager, and our outsourced development team, and will work closely with the Founder/CEO. You will also have the opportunity to build your own team as we grow.

What you'll do:
Conceiving and conducting user research,
Talking to customers via interviews and surveys,
Translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps,
Build wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
Build and maintain our design system
Designing final interfaces for the development to use
Help drive overall corporate design and branding
Support sales team through tailor-made mock-ups for potential buyers of our technology
Who you are:
You're a great communicator
Ability to design products and features that match how people think and behave
Work well autonomously
Eager to deliver impeccable visual designs and have a high attention to detail
Quick learner, always open-minded and curious, and eager to learn new skills
Ability to think on your feet, adapt and convey your ideas and thought process
What you should have:
Experience with UX & UI design, incl. methods of user research and designing user flows and wireframes
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbally.
Ability to have strategic conversations directly with clients, articulating design solutions that are backed up by research and robust rationale.
Proficiency in Figma
Excellent planning and organization skills
Team player who likes to lead and work with many different parties
What would be nice for you to have:
Experience conducting user testing
