What you will be doing
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Field Operations Manager to join us in our Water Networks Division. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Field Operatives to deliver excellent customer service and operational performance across the Thames Water clean water network.
The Field Manager role is an important position to provide leadership and management to our frontline workforce. This includes delivering H&S briefings to managing tools and materials for our team. In this role, you will also need to develop a strong working relationship with other Thames Water business units, network teams, key contractors, and other external stakeholders.
This position is a mixture of field/office-based, the percentage split based on changing business needs and challenges (average 50/50 split). Occasional night work may be required to support and drive team output.
The location is in South East London-Travelling will be required for this role.

We're looking for you to have:
- Previous experience in leading a high-performing team of Operational staff
- Good working knowledge of health and safety legislation is essential
- An understanding of Electrical & Mechanical principles
- Competent in IT & internal systems and an ability to interpret reporting data
- Able to work in confined spaces (training provided)
- Full valid UK driving license
- Practical working knowledge of wastewater networks would be highly beneficial, allowing you to provide not only leads to your team but technical mentoring as well
