Looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, and resilient BTEC Psychology Teacher to work 2 days a week for a fantastic school in Lewisham. The school is not only praised by staff and third parties but has managed to accumulate multiple positive reviews from current students and alumni.Starting in December for a year and for the right candidate the role can be permanent.

Requirements: Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree Have successful teaching experience of Psychology at a secondary level OR BTEC Psychology Understand the importance of high expectations and equality of access for all students Have knowledge of National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4, Have knowledge of writing lesson plans, developing resources and assessing students' work Be able to work as part of a team and to develop and keep positive relationships with all staff Although the role is for a Psychology teacher, you will also be distributed some BTEC Health and Social Care lessons so any relevant experience or qualifications would be helpful.

Planning and preparing courses and lessons.

Communicating and consulting with the parents of students. Communicating and cooperating with people or bodies outside the school. Supplying guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters and on their further education and future careers.
