2nd Line Support Engineer | Global Asset Manager

Hays Technology is looking for a 2nd line Support Engineer who is looking to take the next step in their career at a Global Asset Manager.

What you will be doing:

* Responsible to provide proactive and quality decisions to on-going technology improvements to the services and support function globally.
* Able to manage project work instructed by management while assisting 1st and 2nd line issues
* Identifying software updates and coordinating of hardware development

Who you will be working for:
Our client who has experience investing globally in any asset classes, with a key objective to deliver long-term capital growth, play a huge role in supporting and preserving shareholders capital value. They are becoming increasingly more aware of the importance of technology and are now expanding the IT Team in London.

What we are looking for:

* 3+ years of experience as an IT Support Engineer \/ IT Infrastructure Engineer.
* A strong knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory and Group Policy.
* Experience using Video Conferencing (Teams, Zoom etc)
* It would be highly desirable - but not essential to have experience within the following:
* Basic knowledge and understanding of networking concepts and virtualization technology such as VMWare Knowledge of Mobile Device Support; Apple iOS devices, Blackberry, Android Cisco Switches and Routers
