Your new company
This is a very exciting time to join this small and growing insurance company. The business specialises in purchasing of books of business from large scale insurance companies. The business have a sociable team and this is a new role to support the Accounts Payable manager in the finance function

Your new role

* Responsible for receiving, recording, processing, and paying of all expense invoices.
* Owning the whole accounts payable process and being responsible for making improvements to the current process.
* Tracking daily cash movements across all bank accounts for both the group and the Syndicate.
* Ensuring that we have sufficient funds in place to make expected payments without going into overdrafts. Input of cash journals.
* Responsible for receiving, recording, processing, and paying of all direct claim's settlements.
* Owning the whole process and being responsible for making improvements to the current process. Monthly bank reconciliations across all Accounts.
* Assist in month end processes across the Finance Team.
* Maintain adequate procedures and controls Contribute to improving overall quality and speed of reporting with efficient use of systems and tools.
* Assist in the external audit processes.

What you'll need to succeed

* to have 1 year experience working in an Accounts Payable focused role
* You will ideally have experience working in an Insurance company
