Hays Technology is looking for an Application Support Analyst to work within the Application Infrastructure Support team to be the first point of contact with regards to all scheduled processing & issue resolution as well as being responsible for the day to day support a number of user facing applications.

What you will be doing: In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for prioritising issue resolution based on business risk, ensuring that issues are owned from notification to closure. There will also be a requirement for the successful candidate to undertake development tasks, primarily creating checks, automation & data reconstructions.

This role is situated within one of the largest asset managers in the UK who have been in operation for 20 years and currently manage over \u00A3735.5 billion for their clients globally. They have noticed a requirement for assistance in their Application Infrastructure Support team due to unparalleled growth.

What we are looking for:

* 5-7 years experience supporting Applications within the Financial Services Industry.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong interest taken in new technologies & willingness to learn.
* Understanding of investment management processes, terminology, systems and related instruments.

Technical skills required:

* Microsoft SQL.
* Application Support within Windows environment.
* Multi-tiered Application Support.
* Scripting tools (Powershell preferred).
* Azure cloud.
* Scheduling system (Control M or UC4 preferred).
* Experience supporting user facing reporting system such as Tableau, Qlkiview, SSRS, PowerBI or any other.
