Application support/Application Developer/Configuration - SQL - Workflow
Permanent
City of London - 2/3 days a week in the office.
£50,000 - £55,000. Excellent benefits and bonus.
My client is progressively implementing Agile practices and requires an experienced Application support/Application Developer/Configuration Individual
I need attention to detail, IT background (2nd jobber supporting Business Applications).
The Role:
Assist with solution design and in preparation of system test plans
Organise/support User Acceptance Testing plans with relevant business users
Liaise with systems/infrastructure teams to ensure successful deployment of developed products
Monitor defects queue, assisting with coordination of resolution
Develop/maintain technical documentation, including a central inventory of all Templates used to publish business documents
Work with business/technical staff to resolve problems/respond to suggestions for improvements/enhancements
Communication of release, updates, and enhancements to relevant departments, ensuring users are aware of the changes and implications
Needed:
Stakeholder management:
experience of managing relationships with business stakeholders; a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, ensure close collaboration with development teams
Knowledge of SQL Query
Application Support
Insurance Policy Administration Systems
General knowledge of technical concepts, strategies, and methodologies, including architectural and security concepts, systems development life cycle, information management, and portfolio management (production systems, release planning, change management)
Knowledge of industry technologies and applications including new and current architectures, including data modelling and overall solution design
A proactive approach to fault finding and issue resolution
Produce technical support documentation
Experience of working in an agile product development environment
Experience of working within the full development life cycle ie, development, unit testing, and release
Experience of Change Management
Experience of Team Foundation Server/Version Control Systems
