Azure Data Engineering Manager - London Hybrid Working

What you will be doing:

• Understand business needs and develop, construct, test and maintain reliable and secure data solutions and architectures to address them
• Build and maintain GDPR compliant data pipelines
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality in an automated way
• Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modelling
• Deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods
• Use data to discover tasks that can be automated
• Build and support product development (web-based applications) teams
• Lead and grow the team' capabilities
• Work closely with the data analytics, data science and business teams to provide high quality data streams and cloud technologies
• Promote the team across the business and manage its reputation

What you will need:

• BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related field
• Hands on experience leading data engineering team
• Extensive experience with Azure product stack (Azure Data Factory, Data lake Gen2, Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps - CI/CD, Azure analytics services, Azure Machine learning services and Container Registry)
• Solid experience with Datamodelling and cleaning
• Strong NoSQL/SQL, ETL/ELT, Python, PySpark skills
• Experience building infrastructure as a code, configuring elastic pools, geo-replication
• Experience building GDPR compliant infrastructure and pipelines
• Extra points for working on Salesforce and cloud-based big data solutions using Hadoop/Spark
