Broker Technician - Lloyd's Broker - City - up to \u00A330,000

Your new company

Your new job working as a Technician will be working for an Independent Wholesale Lloyd's Broker. Your new Broker specialise in international Casualty and cross class binding authority placements within the London insurance marketplace, including Lloyd's of London. They have strong trading relationships with the majority of Lloyd's syndicates which allows them to identify and implement strategic business solutions to the most appropriate markets. Due to the growth within the company, a permanent position for a Broker Technician has arisen.

Your new role

Your new job as a Operation Technician will be responsible for dealing with Canadian, US, Australian Liability and Property business, which are mainly under a binder. The role will include preparing the submissions into the IMR and dealing with, Open Market premium signings, preparing Premium Bordereaux signings and responding to Xchanging queries. This role has room for progression and may involve broker back up duties to include slip production and endorsements, as well as dealing with PPL.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working as a Technician within a back end processing role handling Non Marine, or Casualty, Property & PI risks, will contribute to your success in securing this role. Good understanding of Market Reform Contracts, Binders and IMR is also preferable. You will have good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written and can work collaboratively with others, building relationships. You will be a proficient user of Microsoft Office Software to include; Word and Excel experience. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A LONDON MARKET PROCESSING TECHNICIAN!
