The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) vision is everyone making the most of their money and pensions. This newly formed organisation brings together the three free services previously delivered by the Money Advice Service, The Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise. MAPS is an arms-length organisation, sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions, with a joint commitment to ensuring that people have access and guidance to the information they need to make effective financial decisions over their lifetime.

The organisation will also engage with HM Treasury, which is responsible for policy on financial capability and debt advice. Working hand-in-hand with stakeholders throughout the UK, the Money and Pensions Service will ensure that money and pensions guidance is available to those that need it, adapting to people's changing needs throughout their lives.

Our vision is to help \"everyone get more from their money and pensions\" so we want to create a single destination where people can get free, unbiased information - and onward journeys to call centres or face-to-face advice sessions through our partners. There are segments of the population where that help is urgently needed e.g. to help vulnerable or over debted people.

Your new role

The purpose of this role is for a strong business analyst with digital transformation experience to support the MAPS Digital services programme.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

* Requirements definition and management - facilitate the setting of business priorities for highly complex change initiatives, lead on requirements analysis, investigation, and implementation of changes to programme scope
* Supporting completion of business architecture artefacts (i.e. Capability Map, Value proposition, Business model canvas)
* Co-ordinate and provide support for integration of kick off workshops, contributing to drafting overall integration scope and plan, co-ordinating delivery of multiple features by number of capabilities aligned agile teams
* Ability to independently work with capability owners and business stakeholders to agree integration approach based on business requirements and integration constraints
* Ensuring alignment of organisational structure to simplify execution, reducing inefficiencies, and increasing accountability to focus on managing outcomes
* Work with solution architects to ensure alignment between business and technical fit
* Business process testing - support for the creation of test cases, create traceability records from test cases back to requirements.
* Support identified change initiatives as part of the programme implementation
* Ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained
* Building and nurturing strong stakeholder relationships
* Support presentation of complex ideas and options for the Executive Leadership team and Board

What you'll need to succeed

* 5 years plus of Business Analysis experience
* 5 years + large scale transformation experience
* 5 years + of navigating the complex landscapes of technologies
* 5 years + working with a combination of Group, regional and in country teams globally
* Analytical and creative bent of mind
* A proactive approach to problem solving
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent organisational skills

What you'll get in return

In return you will earn circa \u00A355,000 pro rata'd.
