Job description

Service Manager required to cover the Central London area (Zones 1-4) for a leading nationwide air conditioning company that has 6 regional offices and been expanding since it formed in 2001. Our client offers their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of air conditioning solutions. Their ever expanding client base consists of long standing client relationships with blue chip Clients such as Hilton Worldwide, David Lloyds, Vue, Mal Maison, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson and more.

The Service Manager will be in charge of the London area and should ideally be based within this area or a short distance on public transport. The day to day responsibilities will be to efficiently manage the service and maintenance operations throughout your patch ensuring client satisfaction is achieved. In order to succeed the targets, set for the patch you will oversee and manage a team of 6-10 engineers driving service quality standards and productivity of the engineers. You must also ensure continuous improvements as well as maintaining and growing client relationships to ensure contract extensions and remedial works, the patch have a turnover of circa £1.2 million with plans to grow in excess of £2.5m providing further career opportunities for the candidate.

The role will be field based reporting into Head Office (Kent).

It is expected that the Service Manager is able to demonstrate a high level of technical ability and confident leading technical conversations with clients discussing systems as well as service and maintenance works, schedules and remedial works.

Service Manager / Operations Manager Position Requirements

Proven Service Management experience
HVAC Technical background
Proven client facing / customer service experience
Leadership skills
Experience of service and maintenance contract framework and negotiations.
Based in or around Central London

Service Manager / Operations Manager Positions Remuneration

Basic Salary up to £55,000
Car Allowance (£375 per month) / public transport covered
Uncapped profit related bonus. (Average £10K - £15K, a guaranteed bonus will be put in place for the first 12 months)
