Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 (inclusive of south east weighting) dependent on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, part time hours may be considered. A flexible approach to seasonal demands is essential.

We're looking for an Ecological Field Officer with a passion for the environment to join our south-east team.

THE ROLE
Over the last 30 years, the company's ecological practice has developed a strong reputation and proven track record as a leader in the field. The South East Team was established to provide ecological support to schemes in London and the South East.
As Ecological Field Officer you'll spend most of your time on-site assisting with all ecological elements of projects. You'll be working with a range of clients on a variety of projects. Regular activities will include:
- Planning works schedules and client liaison;
- Acting as Ecological Clerk of Works;
- Assisting in and completing habitat and species surveys; and,
- Data collection and reporting.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A background in either field-based ecology or environmental landscaping is essential, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
Good interpersonal skills are essential as the role will work closely with clients and colleagues. The role includes some involvement with reporting and so you'll also need to be able to confidently use Microsoft Office applications.
A valid CSCS card would be advantageous.
