Your new company
Aims to provide intuitive and easy-to-use technology and services and deliver a world class user experience, empowering our colleagues to easily collaborate and deliver against the Bank's strategy. They are responsible for delivering colleagues their end user computing technology. Covering virtual and physical desktops, laptops, mobile devices, collaboration tools, conferencing services, email and Office. The function also provides company's IT support function via the IT Help Desk and second line desktop support teams. They are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and enthusiastic Briefing Centre Lead to manage and run technology briefing sessions in our new Innovation and Experience Centre in our Global Head Office in Canary Wharf London.
Your new role
In this role you'll use your presentation, technology and event management skills and keen attention to detail to partner with internal and external teams to create and lead custom briefing sessions around technology for both internal and external stakeholders. You'll proactively go out into the business and IT to evangelise about the opportunities the space provides and help people understand how they can use the space to add an exciting extra dimension to presentations, new product launches etc. You'll ensure that the Innovation & Experience Centre helps company drive forward its digital first agenda, taking a lead from technology owners on the constant evolution of the technology in the space based on product roadmaps.
The role will report to the Head of Exec Support Services and be responsible for the following activity. Be an evangelist for the technology innovation space, actively seeking out opportunities to show how it can be used to drive forward our digital agenda Develop, define, build and run briefing sessions for executives and employees. This should initially focus on Company improvements in technology as part of the return to Office programme. You'll manage day-to-day briefing sessions, to ensure that sessions are planned, executed and scheduled effectively. Act as the main point of contact for the Briefing and Tour confirmation, qualification, planning and production, resolving scheduling conflicts as they arise, to build and deliver exciting and engaging briefings and events, which use the innovation space to full effect, build assets and resources needed to ensure success of programming Schedule and confirm discussion leaders for briefings and tours. Curate, collate and refine content for briefing presentations When applicable: Host and facilitate employee and customer groups in the innovation room. Be responsible for operational aspects including, but not limited to: room readiness, swag, pre-registration for check-in, follow-up surveys, documenting notes and contacts. Manage onsite operations and logistics in partnership with corporate services, technology teams, security, and catering teams on site.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working in an Executive Briefing Centre or events role, Experience in training or change management experience in technology. Functional experience in planning, producing, facilitating, and executing sales meetings and\/or executive briefings. Exceptional communication, organizational skills, and professionalism Ability to work as a team but also autonomously and adjust to changing priorities and to handle multiple projects at once Experience gathering, formatting, and preparing briefing documents for executives is strongly recommended, but not required. Solid written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills High level of drive and motivation Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with Senior Executives. Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely and in simple language.
