IT Tech Bar Engineer needed in London, West Minister

An opportunity has arisen for a Software and Hardware Engineer to work with a large Independent Technology Partner in London, United Kingdom. Our client is trusted by large corporate and public sector organisations in assisting customers to source, transform and manage their IT infrastructure to deliver digital transformation, enabling users and their business.

Your new role
The responsibilities of this role will be to assist local and remote users to remedy software and hardware based IT issues. It will be on a Face to Face in a tech bar environment and phone based basis as part of a team for a client based in Westminster. You will need to be familiar with running manufacturers diagnostics and interpreting results to decide on a course of action to remedy the issue along with hardware break fix and general software problems. You will also need a good manner with customers and be able to ask appropriate questions to gain first-hand information from the end user to further help with fault diagnosis.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful we are looking for recent strong experience of repairing and ability to fault find and carry out full system inspections. Attention to detail will be key, with strong communication and teamwork skills as the various customers will have a wide variation of technical awareness and it will take someone with an adaptable style to be able to get and convey the right information.

Candidate will be required to go through SC and Home Office clearance
