Job description

Learning and Development Manager

The role holder manages the company's talent and development offering and ad hoc projects, working with colleagues at all levels. There is a mix of on-line, self-paced learning, and live, virtual or face to face sessions using external or internal facilitators.

This role is an initial 6-month contract.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Developing talent and development process mapping and ways of working guides.

* Scoping, reviewing, and evaluating the design of both ongoing programmes and new solutions aligned to the 70:20:10 model.

* Developing reporting to measure impact and ROI of programmes.

* Delivering and facilitating of internal workshops and courses

* Managing of Oracle Learn, enhancement requests and overseeing critical issues, to ensure smooth operation for both administrators and users. Overseeing e-learning development for the company's mandatory training suite and completion reporting.

* Ensuring audit trails and record keeping support effective management information and insight.

* Managing relationships and contracts with external suppliers and internal facilitators.

* Managing areas of talent and development budget.

* Line management of 1-2 team members.

About you

You have L&D or equivalent qualification or certification. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships. Proven understanding of digital learning solutions and learning technologies. Experience of using a learning management system. Previous experience in managing a learning management system and a good understanding and application of learning technology. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities the company has to offer
