Medical Events Project Lead
6-month contract
EMEA Region: Travel required
Outside of IR35
45-50 per hour
Cpl Life Sciences have partnered with a leading global pharmaceutical business who are seeking an experience Medical Events Planner to engage with and organise large medical events across the EMEA region. The successful individual will be able to project manage complex events and programmes, working with a range of stakeholders to ensure the successful design, preparation and closure of medical events.
Key responsibilities shall include:
Work with key stakeholders in the creation of medical events and programs
Coordinate the preparation of events across the EMEA region
Project management responsibly including point of escalation
Manage HCP communication and relationships
Be a key point of contact for external stakeholders and relevant agencies
Select and contract medical communication and logistics agencies
Budget management internally and with external agencies
Oversee outsourced agency contribution
Plan, track and report on the budget for the event planning and execution
Ensure all activities are compliant and in line with regulatory expectations
Close engagement with the Medical Affairs team
Essential skills and experience:
Direct experience arranging large scale and complex medical events with the pharmaceutical industry
Field based experience in managing events
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with HCPs
Fluent in English, additional language skills would be a bonus
Frequent travel to the EU and potential other EMEA countries depending on event timing
Ability to manage budgets and track accordingly
Stakeholder management is essential
