Multi Skilled Maintenance Electrician Job based in a college in North London Mon - Fri £20 per hour

Your new company
You'll be working at a vibrant, well-respected college located in Central London not far from the City itself. The dynamic nature of the university environment provides a consistently challenging and engaging place of work, encompassing commercial, residential and academic settings and catering to around 2,500 students.

Your new role
You'll work within a lively maintenance team covering mainly reactive and planned preventative maintenance, along with occasional project and call-out requirements. You'll be responsible for the provision of repairs, refurbishment and operation of the Colleges electrical and general maintenance aspects, as well as carrying out the service ad maintenance of a diverse range of electrical equipment in accordance with current standards and health and safety procedures.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualified in a relevant electrical certificate. Your previous maintenance experience within commercial or public sector environments will be beneficial, as will familiarity with inspection, testing and fault finding. You'll have a strong work ethic and be capable of working independently as well as part of a team, and will be comfortable with and aware of the demands of working a customer-facing role.
