Performance Analyst - Investment Management - £65k - 12 month FTC

Harvey Nash are currently supporting the hiring of a Performance Analyst to join a global Investment Management organisation on a 12 month FTC basis.

Background:

This role sits in the Analytic Operations Department. The Analytic Operations team is responsible for developing and implementing a standardised framework to produce, measure, and monitor investment level analytics on a firm-wide basis

The role of the Performance Analyst will be centred around providing ongoing support for the production of the firm's Investment Analytic platform.

Role Responsibilities:

• Ownership and oversight of the daily Investment Analytics calculation and quality control process.
• Provide timely confirmation of the accuracy of investment data prior to market open to permit effective portfolio management and trading.
• Maintain a working relationship with key data vendors to ensure that the upkeep of service quality and process improvement are priority agendas.
• Regularly liaise with stakeholders to ascertain ongoing requirements and work with the team to implement these goals.
• Assist with required initiatives such as project management, documentation, audit requests, system testing and internal trainings when required.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of Fixed Income analytics and asset modelling for bonds, loans and Fixed Income derivatives
• Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services and/or BI tools desired - MS SQL Server querying experience
• Experience working with investment risk data like tracking error, volatility and VaR
• Detailed reporting and presentation skills
• Knowledge of buy side platforms such as Factset, Bloomberg, Riskspan, RiskMetrics and Intex
