Procurement Admin 1 year FTC at a University

Your new company
This client is a university in London whose procurement function has a team of 11 plus 3 contractors. They are looking to hire a Procurement Admin\/Officer for a year to work in different categories, and the work is fast-paced and exciting.

Your new role
You will be working on different procurements such as research grants and microscopes for the university, and other projects across a few different categories. This is a great entry-level role into procurement, which will involve spend analysis, travel spend management, new supplier requests, and everything around procurement operations, as well as experience with end-to-end procurements. The role reports directly to the Director of Procurement, with whom you may be working on a variety of tasks, such as market analysis, dashboard reports, and collation of tenders.

What you'll need to succeed
They want you to have a clear commitment to fairness and transparency, and an eagerness to learn. Enthusiasm is key, as you will be learning procurement from the ground up. You don't need to have experience in procurement but it would help, as would an interest in the field, but you don't need to be able to do end-to-end procurement!
