Product Owner (Back End Systems) London - Hammersmith Up to \u00A355,000 per annum

The role
This organisation are looking for a Product Owner who is experienced in the management and development of a back end system to support the rapid growth of the organisation. This will involve managing internal software packages and helping to introduce a process of regular optimisation throughout the customer joinery as well as identifying and coordinating the design and development of new functionality.

Responsibilities

* Work closely with the Senior PO and CEO to manage functionality and integrations for internal systems use across the group
* Leading the end-to-end product initiatives for internal systems including research and discovery, development of user flows, wireframes and stories (with UX\/Design), tracking, QA, UAT, post launch validation and ongoing optimisation in an Agile manner using SCRUM methodologies and artefacts
* Develop and deliver the Roadmap for internal systems in assigned Business Unit Areas for improvements in user experience with a view to increase overall Service levels to their clients and cost effectiveness of service delivery
* Apply a data driven approach to define, prioritise and validate the Product roadmap and backlog, using multiple data sources and user insight (qualitative and quantitative) and to continuously drive improvements in the user experience with a view to increase overall Service levels to our clients and cost effectiveness of service delivery.
* Manage business stakeholders to gather well-defined requirements in line with business objectives and manage expectations as well as gain sign off on deliverables
* Manage output from technical delivery teams, translating business requirements into technical stories and vice versa
* Work with stakeholders across Business Unit Areas assigned to identify user pain points and develop possible solutions
* Work alongside Business Analysts, Systems Analysts and Senior stakeholders to map business processes and create change management plans

Skills and experience

* Experience working with backend systems and processes is essential e.g CRM, Finance tool, PIM, Logistics, Purchasing etc
* A good working knowledge of NetSuite and\/or Akeneo would be highly advantageous
* Experience in an ecommerce environment, specifically working on product information is essential
* Strong analytics experience and Data driven decision making
* Experience in change management would be beneficial
* Excellent communication skills and Stakeholder management skills
* Experience in cross-functional teams and in an Agile environment is beneficial
* Training end users experience would be beneficial
* Experience in backlog grooming, User Story development and prioritisation
* Strong level of commercial acumen to ensure understanding of business value and implications of the team's technical deliverable
* Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail
