Your new role
You will join a newly created team based in London covering housing stock across Greater London and the Home Counties. As a Quality Insurance Inspector your main duties will be to carry out quality inspections in customer homes to ensure that any energy efficiency measures installed through your new companies managed projects meet the required standards. To engage with customers to ensure that they know how to maximise the benefits of the measures installed. You will work with the wider organisation to provide technical guidance and support to staff. What you'll need to succeed
You will have worked as a Quality Inspector and built-up varied experience and knowledge on retrofit surveying, energy efficiency and housing upgrades. You might currently work for a large estate of buildings, in social housing, for a sustainability consultancy, or a construction contractor. Due to the varied and a unique nature of the organisation, a variety of backgrounds will be considered relevant. You will have strong experience of identifying areas of improvement and problem solving. You will have excellent and well-developed stakeholder management skills, able to communicate with and influence people with a variety of requirements and agendas, acting as an authoritative expert in retrofit projects and sustainability. You must have Renewable certification and Asbestos awareness training. You will have passion for your subject and the drive to push the organisation towards a leading position.
