My client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join their Consultancy division based in central London. The role will initially involve working from home but will in time require you to work some days within the office. The Senior Highways Engineer role is full time and permanent, offering a broad range of benefits and a competitive salary.

The company offer specialist design services to several high-profile clients across London and the South East. Consultancy Services covers Public Realm Projects, private developer schemes, Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) and Planned Preventative Maintenance schemes.

The Senior Engineer Role

They are seeking a Senior Engineer with experience in the highways sector to be part of their growing team. The team has recently delivered projects at high-profile central London locations such as Leicester Square and Whitehall. With recent project wins they are keen to expand the team to support on the delivery of these projects and assist the team in developing new clients in central London and nationally. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody that has an interest in the final stages of project delivery.

Responsibilities of the Senior Engineer

·Producing design packages from concept through to construction issue
·Project cost management and reporting
·Co-ordination with 3 party design partners
·Working with our implementation teams to deliver high-quality schemes
·Carrying out initial site inspections and commissioning survey teams
·Technical input to the agreement of project briefs and proposals
·Meeting clients and liaising with stakeholders

They are looking for candidates who are experienced within the field of highway engineering and can demonstrate strong technical experience. You will have developed highway designs in accordance with the DMRB or similar using AutoCAD and you will have a good working knowledge of Civils 3D. To be considered for this role you will have experience working on projects within an urban environment and will have undertaken a technical role on projects for local authorities and private sector clients
