Contract: Permanent
Salary: £28-30,000
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Interested in helping vulnerable households to reduce their carbon emissions and lift them out of fuel poverty? This environmental charity is looking for a Senior Project Officer, Green Doctor to join their Environmental Service team.

The award winning 'Green Doctor' programme is a key element of the Trust's Environmental Services programme, and has helped households stay warm, stay well, save money on their household bills and reduce carbon for the last 15 years. Through a portfolio of projects, the Trust's support combines one-to-one energy saving advice with installations of low-cost devices to keep people warmer in their home and move them out of fuel poverty. The charity also support residents to make changes like switching to cheaper energy providers, alleviating energy debt and refer them for larger energy-saving retrofit schemes.

The Senior Project Officer is a key role in the Green Doctor team helping manage and co-ordinate the Green Doctor programme. The post will line manage Green Doctor Advisors and manage a portfolio of projects overseeing all aspects including budgets and client relationships, to ensure delivery success. You will also contribute ideas to continuously development, innovate and improve the programme.

  • Experienced in project management with the ability to manage customer facing projects.
  • An excellent team-working and leadership skills with line management experience.
  • Experienced in client, stakeholder and partner management.
  • Confident in using technology, project management tools and the ability to pick up new software quickly.
  • Positive with a can-do attitude.
