Paying up to \u00A3650. Financial Services. 6 month Contract.

Our client is a leading investment banking services company seeking a senior test analyst with a focus in Automation.

Your responsibilities

* Communicating with test analysts to understand and document agreed test requirements
* Contributing to the automation strategy for the organisation to ensure it is designed to enhance regression
* Documenting the design for the test automation including objectives and success measures
* Maintaining and executing automated tests ensuring that all test results are correctly recorded against the system
* Use strong SDLC practices in the development of automated tests and provide peer review, design input and feedback on the design and execution of your peers automated tests.
* Design, Develop and evolve the test automation framework
* Record and review defects (including existing defects) and provide input into the business to facilitate effective prioritisation
* Provide environment support by proving new builds of the systems under test for the testers as new updates become available
* Communicating planning and execution reports
* Highlighting potential issues that occur during the testing phase that could impact the schedule
* Identify test data and environmental requirements
* Produce estimates for work items
* Proactively provide feedback on potential system issues
* Contribute to Risk and Issues logs by highlighting any Product Risks \/ constraints that could impact the project
* Organise own day-to-day activities under the direction of the Test Team Lead Using PPM, Ensure Manages and advises on the allocation of resources and its utilisation globally

Qualifications and Competencies

* 8-10 years of experience in a systems quality environment required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
* Team and line management experience
* Stakeholder management experience
* Extensive experience of Testing Best Practices and Design Techniques
* Detailed understanding and experience of Quality Centre\/ALM\/Jira
* Experience of other testing tools, e.g. Quick Test Professional
* Experience of change management and code version control tools and processes.
* Quantifiable experience in Test process optimisation techniques such as TMMi, Test Process Improvement\u00AE and any other unstructured optimisation technique
* Experience in delivering a process optimisation programme
* Experience in a relevant business or technical role (preferably min. 3 years' Finance Industry experience) - preferably PSD2 experience.
